Keesie Jamboree Seven Florida Keeshond Rescue is a nonprofit corporation under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS tax code. Any donations, gifts and bequests made to Florida Keeshond Rescue are tax deductible to the extent of the law. Florida Keeshond Rescue hosted the Keesie Jamboree Seven at beautiful Treaty Park in St. Augustine, Florida. Guests included 63 humans, 52 dogs and Elvis who played Santa for us. We enjoyed a chilly but wonderful day of fellowship, food and fun! Awards were presented recognizing the dedication and outstanding efforts of our wonderful volunteers. We would like to take this opportunity to thank each of our guests for sharing the day with us but most of all for the respect, love and care you give your dog. We would also like to thank everyone for their continued support of Florida Keeshond Rescue – because of you we are able to save lives! We hope you will enjoy the following pictures of the celebration as much as we enjoyed the day.
OUR CELEBRATION AT TREATY PARK Located in historical St. Augustine, this park commemorates an American Indian treaty signed nearby. The park has a dog park, large pavilion on the lake, tennis courts and other recreational facilities. This was a great location for our celebration.

Before the Jamboree, Florida Keeshond Rescue hosted a Puppy Jamboree. The party honored the adopters of each of the 7 puppies that were born last year in the home where the event was held. Klare, Porter and Frani were adult dogs rescued from a puppy mill in Ohio and several weeks later, Klare gave birth to 7 beautiful and very special Kees puppies. Georgiana (forever Mom to Klare Bear II) said it so beautifully: Puppy Jamboree was a wonderful “celebration of life and love!” The sire of the puppies, Porter, was also at the party and looking so handsome! “Grani Frani” was not able to attend but she and her grandson, Shadow D. were adopted together and they and their adopters were with us in our hearts. Of the seven puppies, 6 were in attendance: Katie, Kayleigh, Klare Bear II, Mikayla Holli, Indy and Ziggy - each one so special. Happy Birthday dear puppies – we love you all!
