Keesie Jamboree Six Florida Keeshond Rescue is a nonprofit corporation under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS tax code. Any donations, gifts and bequests made to Florida Keeshond Rescue are tax deductible to the extent of the law. Florida Keeshond Rescue hosted its Keesie Jamboree Six at beautiful Treaty Park in St. Augustine. "Woofstock" was this year's theme. We were blessed with a beautiful mild Florida Fall day with abundant sunshine. In attendance were about 45 Keeshonden and 70 caregivers including some from states other than Florida including Massachusetts, Tennessee, Illinois, Alabama, Georgia, and North Carolina. In addition to having 2 adult dogs and 6 puppies adopted, we played games and winners received ribbons and prizes for first, second, third place, a BBQ lunch was served, a ceremony was held to recognize accomplishments, and individuals were presented with awards. We thoroughly enjoyed the fellowship with our friends. Florida Keeshond Rescue sincerely appreciates and thanks each of you who provide us assistance and support. We look forward to another successful year.
We hope you will enjoy the following pictures of the celebration as much as we enjoyed the day.
OUR CELEBRATION
We not only celebrated our many adoptions during the year, the event was also a celebration of life and love. Klare Bear, a recent rescue from Ohio, came to us 4 weeks before she delivered 7 beautiful and healthy puppies. All of these puppies have been adopted.
TREATY PARK
Located in historical St. Augustine, this park commemorates an American Indian treaty signed nearby. The park has a dog park, large pavilion on the lake, tennis courts and other recreational facilities. This was a great location for our celebration.
