Keesie Jamboree Two Florida Keeshond Rescue is a nonprofit corporation under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS tax code. Any donations, gifts and bequests made to Florida Keeshond Rescue are tax deductible to the extent of the law. Florida Keeshond Rescue hosted its Keesie Jamboree Two at Jay Blanchard Park in Orlando. The event was a wonderful celebration of life and love for everyone who attended.
A large number of keeshonden and even a few "honorary" Kees eagerly greeted one another and played together while their human family members got to know one another. Everyone participated for ribbons and prizes in the friendly competitive games. After lunch special awards were presented and a drawing was held to determine the winners of each one of the prize baskets. As a reminder of just how special older keeshonden really are and how thankful we are to those who open their hearts and homes for the seniors, two very special baskets were awarded to the families who adopted the oldest Kees this year.
Florida Keeshond Rescue banner welcomed everyone as they arrived.
Our special mascot "Don Kees Joti" welcomed everyone too.
The children enjoyed Regina's face painting artwork.

"I'm too sexy for my shirt" says Keeya.
Tia and her special Mom Debbie echo Keeya's sentiment.
And the winner of the fashion dash is: Barney. Mom Kelly accepted the ribbon, certificate and prize for him while Daddy Greg snapped lots of great pictures. All the contestants did a great job and the dogs were really good sports.
Great folks and yummy food made for a wonderful lunch.
